Jamming: My son has been OBSESSED with the cd from the newest Muppet movie so every time we are in the car together we are jamming to Kermit and Miss Piggy! :)
Unwinding: I've been a power napper lately...NEVER before in my life have I been a power napper and here I find that I just need 15-20 mins
Needing: I'm still in need of a Father's day gift for my husband! UGH! I'm such a procrastinator when buying him gifts. I have to admit it is looking more and more like a home depot gift card though! Ha!
Excited about: Our vacation to Disney World coming up later this month! We are SUPER excited to surprise our son with this fun vacation. He has been so into mickey mouse lately (more than usual) so I think we might just blow his mind with this vacation...I hope, I hope!!!
How about you? What are you up to this J.U.N.E.? I'd love to hear...comment below!
How are you surprising your son? I love watching the videos of how parents tell their kids they are going to that magical place. Have a great trip!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm not really sure how we are going to surprise him yet but we will definitely try to capture it on video. We'll see if he cooperates. 3 years old is not the easiest age for parent, I can vouch for that! Hahahaha!!!
DeleteI love Disney World! Are y'all doing any character meals?
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
Laura we don't have any character meals planned. I need to read all of your suggestions on your blog b/c I feel kind of like we are just going to see where the days take us but maybe I should get more organized! I don't even know how to do a character meal. Hmmmmm....
DeleteFun-I'll be interested to hear about Disney. We will be going with my (then 5) year old this winter.
ReplyDeleteYes we are super excited. Being 5 your child will really remember it I hope. My son will be too young but we have to go to Fl for family things so why not do Disney while we are there right? I don't know I'll be the best at giving tips but I'll do my best :)
DeleteA trip to Disney World is definitely something to be excited about!! You're from AZ so you know about HEAT -but I swear Disney World might be the hottest place on Earth! At least it seems that way when you're waiting in line for Dumbo. If you can get your hands on the some handheld mister fans, they are lifesavers at Disney in the summer! Your son has great taste in Movies and soundtracks- the Muppets rock! Oh and you're not alone, I'm procrastinating the father's day shopping, too :( yikes
ReplyDeleteI just love your personality that comes out in this comment! I feel like I'm talking to myself...hahahaha! Hand held mister fans are brilliant! I think we have two around this house somewhere...I guess I should pack them. You know that new muppet cd really is a good one. Every song is catchy and child friendly. Plus who doesn't love Kermit???? Thanks for your comment!
DeleteLOVE Disney World. I haven't been since I was in first grade and would love to go back sometime! Can't wait to hear all about it and how you surprise your son! :)

Thanks Carissa! We are getting super excited about the vaca! I know it will be hot and crazy busy but it will be our first time going with our son so I think all of it will be worth it just seeing his face light up! I'll keep everyone posted on our family fun!!!! I hope you get to go back to Disney World soon! :)
DeleteHaha, I laid down for a 10-minute power nap the other day and woke up an hour later! Guess I needed it :) Enjoy your summer!
